Seasoned artisans procure the best quality wood, turn it on a traditional lathe, dye it with vegetable dyes, hand paint traditional motifs onto it and lastly, polish it with a canvas cloth for a glossy look. Albeit traditional techniques have been used to make it, the vibrant colors and motifs give this coaster set a quirky, contemporary charm
