Medium-density fiberboard or MDF used to make this offering is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibers, often in a defibrillator, combining it with a resin binder, and shaping it into panels by applying high temperature and pressure. These pieces are then marked with pencil and cut in different shapes and sizes in keeping with the design. The recycled circuit board on this elephant design acts as a subtle reminder of the importance of the environment and how this product is indeed a conscious buy!
